The “Love Yourself” Seminar June 1

Sault Ste Marie – Cities and Oceans, a local online boutique dedicating to promoting body positivity, is thrilled to announce our debut event: “The LOVE YOURSELF Seminar” – a transformative Self-Love and Confidence Building Event on Saturday, June 1st, 12PM until 4 PM.

Acknowledged as a trailblazer in promoting body positivity in our community by the Chamber of Commerce’s Strive Young Professionals Group in January, Connie Carello was honoured with the “Consumer and Retail Industry Award” for her boutique’s commitment to offer stylish options for all body types and a message to “always love yourself along the journey…”

By inviting local models to participate in photo sessions to feature apparel options including swimwear, dresses, and signature design comfort apparel, Cities and Oceans challenges the traditional “model” terminology to be more inclusive and fortifies their message that everyone is authentically beautiful.

Connie Carello, also a certified teacher, continues to inspire our local community with her message beyond the boutique’s online website and personal shopping studio space by planning “The LOVE YOURSELF Seminar.”

The LOVE YOURSELF Seminar is intended to help silence your negative self-critic while embracing your authentic beauty. Through self-love strategies and techniques which can be used beyond the luncheon, Cities and Oceans hopes to inspire attendees to celebrate themselves and their uniqueness.

Through self-discovery, attendees will have the opportunity to explore strategies to nurture a positive self-image while developing an appreciation for both their mind and body.

Participants will immerse themselves in a series of guided interactive and independent activities aimed to ignite self-love and cultivate confidence.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a personal notebook to record their transformative process while diving into the depths of confidence with Cities and Oceans.

The seminar includes a delicious lunch with a menu Chicken Souvlaki, Rice and crisp House Salad and coffee and tea.

To conclude, each guest will have the opportunity to strike a pose with Cities and Oceans’ sister photo studio, CC Photography to capture the empowering moment as a self-love reminder.
